Paying your Application Fee
Posted by Marilyn Dueckman on 09 April 2014 10:49 AM

Graduate students may pay the application fee by credit card, using the online application system, after the application has been submitted.  If you have more than one application for admission, you need to pay a fee for each application.

In order to pay with a credit card, you must ensure that your pop-up blocker is turned off so that the link to 'Make a Payment' will become active.  See instructions below.

For other ways to pay your application fee, please see http://www.sfu.ca/students/fees/howtopay.html

If you have paid by credit card, you will be able to upload your documents immediately following payment.  If you have paid some other way, you must allow time for your payment to be processed before you will be able to upload your documents.

How to turn off your pop-up blocker:

Internet Explorer 7 users: from the "Tools" menu, select the "Pop-blocker" menu option and select "Turn off Pop-up Blocker" or add "*.sfu.ca" to the list of allowed sites found in the "Pop-up Blocker settings" option.

Mozilla Firefox users: from the "Tools" menu selection "Options" and go to the "Content" tab. The either unselect "Block Popup Windows" or add "*.sfu.ca" by pressing the "Allowed Sites" button.

Apple Safari users: from the "Safari" menu choose "preferences" and go to the "Security" tab. Unselect the "Block pop-up windows" option.

Note: If you elect to disable pop-up blocking functionality in your browser in order to access the "Make a payment" functionality, it is recommended that you re-enable this feature upon completion of your transaction. Occasionally you may need to disable this feature to access certain functionality on this website. Please check your browser's pop-up blocking notification if links do not appear to create a new page when expected.
